IEC 60079 and other IECEx Standards

The IECEx System is based on the use of International Standards, such as IEC Standards.

These Standards are dedicated to the industry fields associated with the use of equipment.  This equipment is abbrieviated to the term 'Ex' and is installed and operated in potentially hazardous areas at risk of fire or explosion.
